Daler Rowney Oil Varnishes will give your painting a protective layer from light and dust and will also make the colours appear more dense and vibrant. It is recommended that you wait approximately six months before varnishing an oil paining to ensure that the paint is fully dry. Remove dust particles and apply a thin coat of varnish with a large varnish brush. There are temporary, permanent  and retouching varnishes available in this range.
