Acrylic Paints

Pullingers Art Shop has a proud history of offering quality Art Supplies at low prices. We have put together a wide range of Acrylic Paints to give an amazing choice for all artists. So whether you are a professional, amateur, student or you are just beginning your artistic journey, we are sure that you will find an acrylic paint to meet your needs and budget.

Acrylic paints are a water-soluble synthetic resin binder mixed with pigment. They dry quickly and have a low odour. They are easy to clean from brushes and hands with just warm soapy water. While canvas is the most popular surface to use, they can be used on almost any surface. Use on wood, metal stone, fabric, cardboard and more. Some surface preparation may be required first. Thin it to create watercolour effects. Mix it with a thickening medium if you want peaks and brushstrokes in your finished painting. They generally dry to a flat finish, but can be mixed with mediums. Varnish them to give a high gloss, satin or matt finish.
