Pebeo Solvent Based Spray Varnishes offer the perfect finish to your oil paintings. The varnish will protect your work from dirt and sunlight (UV resistant) and give a uniform finish.
These Spray Varnishes come in 200ml & 400ml aerosols, in 3 finishes, Gloss, Matt and Satin. A Retouching Varnish is also available.
Pebeo Superfine Gloss Picture Varnish - This varnish has a transparent shiny finish that intensifies colours and dries rapidly. It must only be applied to completely dry paint. The thermoplastic film ensures the possibility to restore the painting. It will take approximately 2 - 3 hours to dry.
Pebeo Satin Picture Varnish - A fast drying varnish with a uniform satin finish (between gloss and matt). It is easy to apply and transparent. The thermoplastic film ensures the possibility for restoration. Drying time is approximately 2 - 3 hours.
Pebeo Matt Picture Varnish - This is a non yellowing, opalescent varnish, that produces an even matt finish. A permanent varnish that can be restored. Drying time is approximately 2 - 3 hours.
Pebeo Retouching Varnish - A very fine and discreet varnish, it is used in smaller areas, during painting, to correct coats which sometimes accidentally produce an unwanted matt sheen. The ideal varnish for correction! Gives temporary protection and can easily be restored. Dries in approximately 15 minutes and can be used on wet surfaces.
Before applying these varnishes (except the retouching varnish), make sure that the surface is completely dry and dust free.
Spray Varnishes are easy to use and give good coverage. Shake before use and spray evenly in one direction. They can be used to varnish 3D objects as well as paintings.
