Amsterdam Acrylic Matt Varnish makes a protective layer over acrylic paintings to keep them free of dust, dirt and grease. Acrylic Varnish can be applied with a brush, and works best when brushed in layers going in one direction. Please make sure, however, that when the varnish is being applied and drying, that the painting is kept at room temperature to stop the varnish from clouding slightly.
Amsterdam Acrylic Matt Varnish dries to a gloss-free finish and is non-yellowing. The Varnish will dry within a few hours depending on the amount used, and can be thinned and cleaned using white spirit. Please shake well before use.
