Derwent Onyx Graphite Pencils are thick, black leaded, pencils which are made from a smooth, dark graphite that delivers dense, rich, black tones (even darker than a 9B).
The leads in these pencils are 4mm wide making them ideal for layering up graphite and creating quick expressive sketches. Onyx pencils can also be sharpened to a fine point for detailed technical and architectural drawings.
These Derwent Onyx Graphite Pencils come in two tones, Medium & Dark. Darker shades can be built up by applying increased pressure. For lighter, more detailed artwork apply less pressure.
