FIMO Air Basic is an air hardening modelling clay that is easy to sculpt and ideal for artists, designers, crafters or schools. This is a ready to use, water-based clay which simply dries and hardens in the air so there is no need to bake it in the oven or fire it in a kiln.

FIMOair is made from 97% natural materials and when dry can be painted with acrylic paints, glued, drilled or sculpted using a file or sandpaper. FIMOair clay is available in 3 colours: white, flesh and terracotta. It is foil wrapped to prevent the clay from drying out and comes in 500g and 1kg blocks.

Do not try to speed the drying process up by placing the clay piece in direct sunlight or a heat source as this may cause the clay to crack. drying time depends on the thickness of the model and may take a few days.
