Experienced Weekend Sales Assistant

We are a busy, family run, high street and on-line retail business specialising in art & graphics materials, stationery, pens, craft materials, etc.
Vacancy:
We have a vacancy for an Experienced Weekend Sales Assistant to work both Saturday & Sunday (12.5 hours per week)
Brief Job Description:
◦ Assisting customers in the store and over the phone. Ensuring that their enquiries are answered, and needs are met in line with Pullingers high level of customer service.
◦ Unpacking and checking deliveries to the branch and assisting with appropriate merchandising of stock.
◦ Assisting in the opening & closing of the store including end of day cashing up when required
◦ Stock taking.
◦ Assisting with all cleaning regimes in place.
Person Specification:
◦ Previous retail sales or customer service experience is essential.
◦ A basic amount of product knowledge (art, craft and graphics materials) is essential.
◦ Good, basic computer skills are essential. Full training of all systems used will be given.
◦ Excellent communication skills are essential, both written and verbal.
