Part-Time Sales Assistant

Vacancy:
We are looking for a Part-time Sales Assistant to join our small, friendly team. You will be working 20 hours per week, Monday – Thursday.
Brief Job Description:
- Assist customers with their queries relating to products sold in store and with their purchases.
- Develop a good knowledge and understanding of products sold by Pullingers.
- Assist in the receipt of deliveries; unpacking, checking off and booking goods in, pricing, merchandising of goods and safe storage of extra stock.
- Picking products for the fulfillment of online orders.
- Keep shelves replenished with stock as required.
- Stock taking.
- Contribute with keeping the shop floor, storage areas and staff areas clean and tidy.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Previous retail sales or customer service experience is not essential but will be an advantage.
- A good basic amount of product knowledge (art, craft and graphics materials) is essential.
- Good, basic computer skills are essential. Full training in all systems used will be given.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills are essential.
- Enthusiasm, energy & commitment.
