Daler-Rowney Optima Mixed Media Spiral Pad is a versatile, heavyweight paper designed for artists working across both drawing and painting techniques. Each pad contains 30 sheets of 250gsm natural white paper with a light texture, providing the strength and surface grip needed for a wide range of media.
This acid-free mixed media paper has an excellent tooth, making it well suited to dry techniques such as pencil, graphite, charcoal, pastel and pen and ink. The 250gsm weight also performs well with wet media including watercolour, acrylic, gouache and markers, offering a reliable surface for artists who want to move between materials without changing paper.
The lightly textured surface supports layering and mixed media techniques, while the spiral binding allows the pad to lie flat in use for easier working in the studio, at home or on location. The binding also accommodates thicker applications such as collage and visual journaling.
