These Golden Extra Heavy Gel Mediums create even more texture and peaks than the Heavy Gel Medium. Simply mix with Acrylic Colours to increase the thickness and body of the paint. An ideal Acrylic Medium for creating Impasto techniques and three dimensional work.

This medium has the ability to be over painted. When building up thick applications, it is worth considering that the thicker the single application, the longer the drying time, therefore it may be best to work with this product in layers.

Once dry, this medium has excellent flexibility but it is advised that you do not use thick applications of this medium on to canvas as cracking may occur.

These Extra Heavy Gels are available in three different finishes: Gloss, Semi Gloss & Matt. This allows you to control the finished appearance of your artwork. Archival Quality.
