Pebeo Vitrail 45ml Crackling Set

Use this Pebeo Vitrail Crackling Kit to obtain a true crackling effect on glass. It is a simple 2 step process kit that is easy to use. In the kit you get 2 different Crackling Mediums in 45ml bottles.

To create your crackle effect, just follow these steps:

Step 1 - Apply your Vitrail glass paint (whatever colour you want) on the glass object to be decorated. Depending on the thickness of the layer, let it dry for 1 - 2 hours. The paint should be slightly tacky to touch. Then, apply the ‘Crackling Effect Step 1’ Medium that is supplied in this set in a uniform and moderately loaded coat. You should see the cracks appear within 15 minutes. Let it dry for 24 hours before doing Step 2.

Step 2 - After Step 1 has dried, apply an even coat of the ‘Crackling Effect Step 2’ Medium that is supplied in this kit. Your crackling effect will now be permanently protected.

Once dry, your painted object will have a glossy finish. Apply the Crackling Mediums with a paint brush. Clean your brushes after use with white spirit.
