Pebeo Solvent Based Acrylic Spray Varnishes offer the perfect finish to your acrylic paintings. Available in 200ml & 400ml aerosols, these acrylic varnishes produce a flexible permanent film that is non-yellowing and UV resistant.
They will increase the depth of colours and brightness, while resisting the ageing process of acrylic colours.
Pebeo Artist Acrylics Solvent Based Spray Varnishes come in 3 finishes: Gloss (perfectly transparent), Matt (opalescent) and Satin.
Before applying the varnish, make sure that the acrylic painting is dry and dust free (if you have applied the paint thickly or used acrylic mediums, it is best to wait 1 - 2 weeks before varnishing).
Once you have applied the spray varnish, keep the painting away from dust and allow to dry for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Spray Varnishes are easy to use and give good coverage. They can be used to varnish 3D objects as well as paintings.
You can use Pebeo Varnishes for restoring artwork and they can be removed once dry with an alcohol / water mixture without damaging the acrylic paint.
