Winsor & Newton ProMarker Brush

Winsor & Newton BrushMarkers

Winsor & Newton ProMarker Brush are twin ended marker pens that come in a range of 72 colours. They feature a flexible brush tip on one end with a broad chisel nib on the other. The high quality alcohol based, transparent ink means streak free coverage and blending is easily accomplished. The inspiring colour range offers a good selection of pastel shades and deeper tones as well as 10, always popular, greys and a blender.

At Pullingers Art Shop we have been really impressed with these modern and relevant markers and since their introduction in 2015, as a replacement for Letraset Flexmarkers, we have seen their popularity and appeal steadily increase.

Are there any sets available within the Winsor & Newton ProMarker Brush range?

Although you may wish to put together your own choice of ProMarker Brush there are 6 themed sets available which are a great way to get started. There are 4 sets of 6, including a very popular selection of Skin Tone ProMarker Brush, and 2 sets of 12 that have the addition of a blender. We’ve found that both of these – Neutral Tones & Vibrant colours have been extremely well received. If you’d like to try something a bit different we’d recommend you take a look at the Mixed Media Wallet of 24 BrushMarkers & ProMarkers.

Who’s using Winsor & Newton ProMarker Brush?

They’ve been met with much approval from graphic designers, animators and fashion illustrators. We’ve seen many purchased as gifts for art students or in fact anyone who enjoys working with or experimenting with colour.

What surfaces do we recommend you use to get the best results from your Winsor & Newton ProMarker Brush?

For the very best results it is important to use an appropriate surface for your work. A smooth, non-porous paper such as a bleedproof marker pad is perfect and if you’d prefer something heavier, have a look at Winsor & Newton Bristol Board Pads. Try to avoid using cartridge papers as the markers may bleed slightly and you will lose your smooth, clean lines.
