The Winsor & Newton Classic Linen Canvas range contains 12 sizes of primed stretched canvas ready to paint on, without the need for preparation. Each canvas has a depth of 19cm and is sized with acid free primer and coated in two coats of Titanium Dioxide high quality gesso.
These canvases are made from a heavyweight 13.8oz (390g/m²) linen. Larger canvases made with linen are much less likely to sag. Linen also contains natural oils that helps the canvas to maintain it's flexibility even after being stretched.
Winsor & Newton Classic Linen Canvases are hand stretched using wood that is kiln-dried to ensure warp-resistance. All canvases have expertly tailored corners and are stapled on the back to allow artwork to be produced on all 4 edges of the canvas. Ideal for professional artists.
