Mapping nibs were originally used for cartography when maps where being produced by hand, but now they are used for a wide range of art and calligraphy projects. Manuscript’s Mapping Nibs are flexible and fine, making it possible to get very delicate and thin lines effortlessly. These nibs also react to pressure, so will produce thicker or thinner lines depending on how hard the nib is pressed to the paper.

These nibs are tubular in shape and therefor will only fit into the Mapping Nib Holder, and will not fit into the standard or cork nib holders. Perfect for any job where fine drawings or very fine writing is required, and for where delicate lines are needed most.
