Daler-Rowney Fine Grain Heavyweight Pads 200gsm provide a durable, lightly textured surface designed for more demanding drawing and sketching techniques. Made from crisp white, high-quality heavyweight cartridge paper, this pad offers excellent strength and versatility for both practice work and finished artwork.
The fine grain texture gives the paper a subtle tooth, making it particularly well suited to pencil, graphite, charcoal, pastel and pen and ink. The lightly textured surface provides improved grip for tonal work, shading and expressive mark-making while still supporting controlled detail.
The heavyweight 200gsm paper also handles light watercolour washes and ink techniques with ease, offering greater durability and stability than lighter cartridge papers. Its robust surface makes it forgiving for corrections and reworking, making it ideal for more developed drawings and layered techniques.
