STABILO CarbOthello Pastel Pencils
One of STABILO’s most creative products is STABILO CarbOthello. This chalk-pastel colouring pencil is wonderfully dry and has a beautiful dusty stroke, just like charcoal and are available in 60 shades. They can be dry-blended or smudged with either the fingertips or a blending stump to create a variety of artistic effects. Dramatic results can be achieved when used on dark backgrounds and delicate papers and you can use the white pencil to create lightened colours or highlights.
CarbOthello's are even partially water-soluble. The pigments can be worked using a brush and water and the contours will still remain visible. These premium chalk-pastels have high pigmentation with excellent light-fastness. For best results, you should use a fixative on your finished artwork.
